Developers - Introduction

FreeWire was developed based on the GPL'ed source code of LimeWire. We believe that the Gnutella network will continue to mature and grow into the world's foremost file sharing technology only if open standards are embraced. We applaud LimeWire and all other developers that embrace the GPL and work hard to promote the concept of free and open software. FreeWire's source code is available here.
